The University of Alcalá is the coordinating partner of AIMS. It is a leading Spanish university with strong provision across health sciences, engineering, and research. In AIMS, the project is supported by the Information Engineering Research Unit, working closely with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences. This combination brings expertise in applied AI, biomedical contexts, and collaboration with healthcare settings, helping ensure the project outputs are both academically rigorous and clinically relevant.

Hacettepe University is one of Turkey’s leading universities and contributes major academic and clinical strength to AIMS through its Faculty of Medicine. The university supports large scale education and research, with extensive international collaboration capacity. It also brings experience in advanced digital approaches for medical training, including simulation focused methods and the use of technologies such as 3D modelling and extended reality. This makes Hacettepe well placed to support applied, practice based AI learning in medicine.

Grigore T. Popa University of Medicine and Pharmacy in Iași is a long established Romanian medical university, founded in 1879, with a strong international profile and multilingual study options. Within AIMS, it contributes expertise linked to biomedical engineering and the intersection of engineering and medicine. This supports the project’s focus on real world medical technologies, including AI applications in education and healthcare practice. Its experience in international partnerships strengthens AIMS collaboration, quality development, and cross-country transfer of project results.

Warsaw Medical University is one of Poland’s oldest medical education institutions, with a strong clinical component and close links to affiliated university hospitals. It brings large scale teaching and research capacity, with wide programme coverage across medicine, dentistry, pharmacy and health sciences. The university also contributes experience in international cooperation and modernisation of health education. In AIMS, this helps ensure the competency framework, teaching kit and digital course reflect real training needs and fit within busy medical curricula.

The European E-learning Institute is a Danish research and development organisation specialising in digital learning design and delivery. It brings strong expertise in evidence based instructional design, multimedia content creation, and technical development of interactive learning solutions. EUEI’s work also prioritises accessibility and inclusive learning approaches, supporting practical adoption across different learner needs. In AIMS, EUEI strengthens the digital course and online resources, helping partners translate medical and AI content into engaging, effective learning experiences that can scale across Europe.

Momentum is an Irish education and training organisation with long experience in European projects, learning design, and dissemination. It supports thousands of learners through face to face, blended and online training, and brings strong capacity in communication, brand development, and digital outreach. Momentum also applies learner centred quality approaches, including Universal Design for Learning, which supports accessibility and inclusion. In AIMS, this expertise helps strengthen user testing, evaluation, and the wide promotion of project results to educators and stakeholders.

MG Healthcare is an Irish medical and surgical devices supplier, founded in 2000, with a broad portfolio across areas such as oncology, cardio thoracic, surgery, dialysis, and hospital consumables. It works closely with hospitals and universities and brings valuable insight into clinical reality, procurement, and device related quality expectations. In AIMS, MG Healthcare supports strong links to practice by contributing real world case perspectives and input on responsible use, including regulatory awareness relevant to AI enabled healthcare solutions.
